The Manassas Campus is hosting the first-ever NOVA’s Favorite Dancer, a collegewide dance competition open to all currently enrolled students. Sponsored by Student Life and presented by the Physical Education Program, any student from any campus may audition. Please help us by telling your students about this event.
“The goal is to have a great time while encouraging our students to showcase their talent and passion for dance,” said adjunct Beth Elliot, whose idea it was to create NOVA’s Favorite Dancer.
Dr. Dahlia Henry-Tett, Manassas Physical Education Program Head, said, “This is a fun, high energy event intended to support our students’ commitment to dance while inspiring them to remain active.”
Another goal is to increase participation and interest in physical education classes.
