MEC Welcomes New Adult Career Coach / Job Placement Coordinator

Cynthia Knight has been a member of the NOVA family for 12 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in management from National Louis University and a master’s in human resources development from Webster University. Knight previously spent most of her time as an active member of the Provost staff at the Alexandria Campus. In February 2011, she became a part of the Medical Education Campus HIS Center of Excellence as the program manager for a federally funded grant. Recently, she proudly accepted the position as NOVA’s new adult career coach/job placement coordinator under the Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College Career Training Grant.

In her new position, Knight will assist participants with developing individualized education and career plans. She will provide assistance to those interested in becoming a NOVA student by helping with the completion of their admissions application, selection of degree program and financial aid processing.
