VCCS to Upgrade Blackboard

The Virginia Community College System (VCCS) will upgrade our current version of Blackboard to Service Pack 11 (SP11), which provides users with contemporary design, improved accessibility features and some long-awaited functionality. The upgrade is scheduled to occur May 17 to May 19. During this time Blackboard will be down and unavailable.

The new features and enhancements to SP11 include:

•      Discussion Board Update

•       Inline Assignment Grading

•       My Blackboard Menu

•       My Calendar

•       New Content Editor

•       Retention Center

•       Supported browsers and operating systems

•       Test Item Analysis

•       Video Everywhere
