The Manassas Campus is gearing up for its first Summer Adjunct Recruiting Fair. As the Campus continues to grow and change, key program areas are in need of adjunct faculty. Another recruitment fair will take place in Parrish Hall on Tuesday, June 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Programs such as math, English, biology, automotive, diesel and welding top the list of opportunities. Members of the community interested in becoming adjunct faculty at the Manassas Campus are invited to attend the event where they’ll have an opportunity to meet program heads and faculty members who can answer questions about NOVA and the various teaching positions available to them.
Applicants should bring an unofficial transcript, resume and government-issued identification. In general, faculty who teach transfer courses must hold at least a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline. For non-transfer courses, other qualifications may suffice. For more information and to register for the event, interested candidates should visit www.NovaManassas.eventbrite.com.
