Provost Roger Ramsammy, Bureau of Engraving and Printing Director Larry Felix, Professor Barbara Hopkins and Dean of Students Mark Kidd enjoyed a reception before Felix’s presentation at the Manassas Campus.

On March 22, the second installment of the iCAD (Inspiring our Community to Academic Achievement Through Diverse Experiences) presentation series at the Manassas Campus was extremely well received, and Director Larry Felix from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing discussed “Balancing Business and Personal Success.”

Everyone agreed that Felix’s presentation, ranging from his early years as a community college student to his current business endeavors, was extremely inspiring.

“Mr. Felix discussed his life experiences and his success in such an engaging manner that it was very easy for us to interact with him,” one student said. “We should invite Larry Felix again,” a faculty member said.

Mark your calendar for the next iCAD presentation featuring Dr. Mark Finley, lecturer and international speaker, on Monday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. Finley will talk about “Building the Brain.” The evening will begin with a reception at 6:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

iCAD was created by Provost Roger Ramsammy. For more information, contact Project Manager Michael Carrington at 703.257.6555 or mcarrington@nvcc.edu.
