Alpha Iota Zeta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society spent a Saturday cleaning up trash near the Manassas Campus.

Faculty and members of the Alpha Iota Zeta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society donned bright orange safety vests to pick up trash along Battleview Parkway on March 22. The chapter cleans the road, which runs beside the Manassas Campus, four times a year through the Virginia Department of Transportation’s Adopt-a-Highway program.

Participants included President Savannah Simpson; Vice President Brian Urias; Allison Guilly; Secretary Kaitlin Price; Alex Haschart; Kitty Piccicone; Treasurer Gabrielle Sulkowski; Professor Matthew Westerhoff; Professor Shakil Shrestha and PTK faculty advisor, Rizza Hansen. Professors Lorraine Goldberg and Maryellen Ryan serve as faculty advisors along with Hansen.
