CETL Continues Study of Mindfulness
Dr. Peter Jo is a member of the Annandale Biology Department.

The Faculty Associates of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) hosted “Mindfulness for You and Your Teaching” on March 28. Attendees at this seminar learned techniques to cultivate focus in the classroom, the neuroscience of mindfulness and how to reduce stress, foster creativity and create a compassionate community.

Even though one of the sessions is over, it is not too late to register for the remaining sessions.

Sherri Waas Shunfenthal will lead “Mindfulness for Your Teaching Practice”
on April 16 and 23 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the CETL Center (CG 218) on the Annandale Campus.
