Second Annual Take Back the Night Rally and March

Second Annual Take Back the Night Rally and March At least one in four women and one in eight men have been the victim of sexual or domestic violence. Sixty percent of these crimes are not reported to the police. It is time to make a difference. Take Back the Night (TBTN) is an event held around the world to raise awareness about sexual assault and domestic violence and to promote a community that stands up against violence. TBTN was started in 1973 to create safe communities and respectful relationships through awareness events and initiatives.

NOVA will hold its second annual Take Back the Night on October 28 by the CF quad on the Annandale Campus. The Resource Fair will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the rally will begin at 7:00 p.m. followed by a march.
