About 50 faculty members attended the new faculty first-year experience workshops, followed by a session of the CETL Teaching Institute on October 31.

Loudoun Provost Julie Leidig led the event with an amazing and informative welcome to the growing Loudoun Campus. Loudoun is thriving with many unique programs and features and leads the way with a shared space for classes with George Mason University. NOVA’s new faculty members were graciously hosted by the Campus and had a tour.

The Teaching Institute held talks by Annandale Provost Barbara Saperstone (who was dressed as a chef), Developmental English Instructor Ray Orkwis and CETL Faculty Associate Barbara Crain. The talks covered a range of information about NOVA.

There is still space in the CETL Teaching Institute for full- and part-time faculty if you would like to join.
