Kastens Writes Article for The Washingtonian Magazine

An article written by Assistant Professor Theana Kastens, who teaches Honors English at the Woodbridge Campus, will be featured in the January issue of The Washingtonian. The article will appear on the back page of the magazine under the “First Person” column.

The article addresses the changing aspects of interpersonal relationships as considered in the growing trend of online dating. Kastens, an interdisciplinary doctoral student at Georgetown University, applies her academic eye on a growing field called digital anthropology, to examine physical versus virtual realities.
