“The information was very helpful,” said one of the participants at the Alexandria 2015 Spring Adjunct Convocation. That was the general consensus from those who took advantage of the opportunity to meet other adjunct faculty, division deans and campus representatives as well as hear about resources that benefit adjuncts and their students. This year’s theme was “The Essential Pieces of Student Success.”
Provost Ron Buchanan kicked off the event by sharing ideas on how faculty can have an impact on student success. The Adjunct Development Committee, under the leadership of Bill Hess, coordinated the event with the support of the Provost Office and Learning and Technology Resources.
“The event was highly successful with good attendance and good engagement,” Hess said.
