“Diversity: Celebrating the Talents of the Art Faculty” exhibit at the Manassas Campus features “an exciting variety of styles, providing a visually dazzling experience for the viewer,” according to Art Professor Rosemary Gallick.
Gallick, Eric Garner and Brian Kelley are exhibiting embellished paintings while Jessica Gardner is displaying her ceramics and Lauren Jacobs has her fiber artworks projecting from the wall.
The art showcases the skills of the professors including vibrant portraits of rock and roll musicians; meticulously rendered carnival and pinball imagery; ivory, shell and clock encrusted ceramics; and fabric 3-D landscapes with a fiber stitched bird mask.
The exhibition will continue until March 4 in the Colgan Hall gallery. For more information, contact Dr. Barbara Lash at firstname.lastname@example.org.
