Annandale Book Club Welcomes NOVA Student and Author

Annandale Book Club Welcomes NOVA Student and Author In February, the Annandale Campus Book Club welcomed Shea Megale, who shared her special writing journey with the club. Megale, a NOVA student, has written 11 children’s books, appeared on the Today Show and is working on her next novel.

Book club members in attendance included retired Annandale librarian Ellen Wertman, Speech Instructor Nan Peck, Religion Instructor Anne Wertman, Liberal Arts Administrative Assistant Nancy Minogue, deans Ellen Fancher Ruiz and Sue Thompson, and English as a Second Language Instructor Carol Ischinger.

  1. I was also in attendance, and wanted to add that Shea is an amazing writer and student at NOVA. I recently purchased her three children’s books for my grandchildren. Congratulations to her on her new novel.
