The movie is about a radio talk show host, Ariel Cookson (Morris) who is an expert in romantic relationships on her radio program, “Romantically Speaking,” but is lousy at her own relationships.

The script has been in development since 2011. The Messegees originated the story idea and pitched it to two different executives in Hollywood. They are the credited writers on the $1.6 million made-for-television movie.
