Great Expectations Needs NOVA Mentors

Great Expectations Needs NOVA Mentors Great Expectations (GE) is a program that helps Virginia’s current and former foster youth gain access to higher education and transition successfully from community college to a credential that will lead to a self-sustaining career. One of the benefits of the GE program is to foster healthy relationships through the mentor program. Each GE student is paired with a NOVA employee who serves as a mentor.

A new mentor orientation will be held on Friday, April 10 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Annandale Campus.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please contact Great Expectations Mentor Program Coordinator Cynthia Delacruz at cdelacruz@nvcc.edu or 703.425.5394. A mentor application must be submitted prior to attending the training.
