“Henry V” at Alexandria

The Alexandria Campus Theatre Program is presenting the first full-length play in several years. Shakespeare’s “Henry V” will run in the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center April 14, 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. The pre-show begins at 7:15 p.m.

The cast reflects the NOVA community and includes international students from Morocco, Angola, Egypt and El Salvador, a Navy veteran of 14 years, two professional performers from the D.C. theater community, and several students who have never acted before who are reaching to new heights on this show. The cast has been working hard for three months. Elizabeth Bull coached the French speakers for the one scene that is almost entirely in French. Professional baritone Nick Horner leads the men in a moving version of “Te Deum” after the battle of Agincourt.

Please attend this wonderful event to witness the work of NOVA students and their hard-won moments of success.
