To ensure benefit premiums are current through the summer months, premiums for the months of May and June for participating 9-month faculty members on the 18-pay cycle will be deducted on the May 16, 2015, payroll for the following benefits: Health, Optional Group Life, UNUM Long Term Disability, AFLAC, Colonial and Insurance Company of North America.
Premiums for the months of July and August will be deducted on the September 1, 2015, payroll when faculty members return in the fall. Regular per pay period benefit deductions will resume on the September 16, 2015, payroll.

Nine-month faculty members who will not be returning in the fall due to the end of restricted positions or resignations may elect to have health coverage through August with premiums through August 31, 2015, collected from their May 16, 2015, pay. To do so, please send a request to AskHR@nvcc.edu no later than May 4, 2015.
Faculty retiring effective June 1, 2015, will only have premiums collected for the month of May from their May 16, 2015, pay. Faculty retiring effective September 1, 2015, will have premiums through August 31, 2015, collected on the May 16, 2015, payroll.
