On March 19, the Manassas Campus Psychology Club and Manassas Student Life hosted a roundtable discussion featuring several female faculty for Women’s History Month. Faculty members who participated were Alicia Tucker (History), Pat Gary (Mathematics), Rebecca Harris-Scott (History), Dr. Laura Casal (English), Dr. Dahlia Henry-Tett (Physical Education), and Kym Richard (Psychology). Faculty members shared relevant academic experiences and reflections on being female academics. A lively question and answer session focused on the role of work-life balance that women often face. Approximately 40 students were in attendance and the event was well received by all.
