Manassas Campus Provost Roger A. Ramsammy and Campus Operations Director Essala D. Lowe are pleased to announce the completion of the Adjunct Faculty Center in Howsmon Hall, Room 109. The Center fills the space previously occupied by the Campus Bookstore and includes a lounge/reading area, a conference room for office hours and meetings with students, lockers for secure storage of materials, adjunct faculty mailboxes, a copier, office supplies and 18 private cubicles for use with computers or personal laptops.

At his announcement of the Adjunct Center opening, Ramsammy praised the diligence and devotion of the Manassas adjunct faculty, “Whether you teach at Manassas a few hours a week or a few days a week, we want you to have a professional/comfortable setting for your office hours, planning and meeting with students and colleagues. We value your service to our students and to the community. Enjoy this new space and the wonderful student artwork.”
Ramsammy thanked Communications Technologies and Social Sciences Assistant Division Dean Anne Kuhta, who is also English program chair, for her enthusiastic and consistent encouragement that made the Center a reality; and Art Assistant Dean Barbara Lash and Art faculty Rosemary Gallick for their support for the Adjunct Faculty Center.
