Political Buttons on Display at Alexandria

Political Buttons on Display at Alexandria From now until Election Day in November, the political button collection of Dean Jimmie McClellan will be on display in the window gallery outside of Room 252 of the Bisdorf Building on the Alexandria Campus. The collection includes hundreds of buttons spanning the period from 1840 to 2012. The earliest campaign buttons were actually brass buttons worn on coats.

On November 10, the Institute for Public Service will present the annual Post-Election Conference with panels covering national, state and local political results and the implications of the outcome. The panels will begin at 9:30 am in room 196 of Bisdorf and continue until 1:00 p.m.
