The 12th annual Power Up Your Pedagogy (PUP)’s Conference is a conference presented by your colleagues. PUP is free to NOVA faculty and staff. PUP is an exciting, award-winning, professional development conference. This year’s theme is “Reflect, Renew and Recharge: Creating a Lasting Impact for our Students.” PUP 2017 will be held at the Annandale Campus on January 3, 2017.
There are three important reminders: 1.) register, 2.) sign up to volunteer and 3.) submit your proposal.
Registration closes on December 10.
PUP’s success is very dependent on the great conference volunteers. Please consider volunteering. If you have volunteered before, then we welcome you back. If you are new to volunteering at PUP, please join in. You will also receive a great Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) fleece vest.
You are also invited to submit a presentation proposal for the conference. Based on the conference goals, session topics may address any of a wide range of topics related to active and high impact practices in teaching and learning. Proposals should address methods and strategies that are used inside and/or outside the classroom environment. Use of data is highly encouraged in all sessions.
