In partnership with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and NOVA’s Achieving the Dream (ATD) campus teams, the Friday Conversations Series provides a space for faculty and staff to have open, productive dialogue about timely and complex issues facing NOVA. These three-hour series are designed to inform the NOVA community, initiate a dialogue and inspire action.
Date: November 18
Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (sign in at 9:30 a.m.)
Location: LO Campus, LW Building, Room 115
Topic: “Who’s in Our Classrooms?”
What are student expectations of their academic experience at NOVA? What strengths and weaknesses do students bring to the classroom? What would have or will help students grow as learners? You are invited to attend an interactive panel session with students represented from all campuses followed by a data presentation that will help guide planning efforts for the next semester.
Lunch will be provided. Make this a campus social and consider carpooling. To register for the event, please go online.
