Accounting Associate Professor Phillip Imel will convene the second annual NOVA Business Conference at the Annandale Campus in the room 302 lecture hall of the Mark R. Warner Student Services Building (CA Building) on Friday, November 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“It is my hope to stimulate shared research and ideas among the NOVA business family,” Imel said. “The conference is a wonderful opportunity for faculty members, students, administrators or classified staff at any of the NOVA campuses.”
This conference is open to presentations and discussion of any business topic and would provide a venue for NOVA Honors Program students to present their research.
“At last year’s conference, 70 people attended. We had five NOVA presenters and two international presenters via Skype,” said Imel, a Fulbright Scholar who taught business classes overseas. “We hope to have more international presenters this year.”
