Before you head out for the holiday break, do not forget to sign up for the 12th annual Power Up Your Pedagogy (PUP)! Dr. Mariale Hardiman – interim dean and vice dean of the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, professor of education, and co-founder and director of Johns Hopkins’ Neuro-Education Initiative (NEI) – will be the keynote speaker. Her presentation “How Do Students Best Learn?” will cover brain-targeted teaching and learning strategies.

In addition, there are two new PUP events for 2017:

  • IGNITE: Inspire us but make it quick! Faculty will share their passion for teaching and learning in five rapid-fire minutes.
  • First College Social: Enjoy live jazz music, baked goods made by faculty, hot apple cider and just plain fun.

Sign up today and check out the new PUP website.
