Dr. Jimmie McClellan to Speak at a George Washington Symposium

Dr. Jimmie McClellan to Speak at the George Washington Symposium Alexandria Campus’ Liberal Arts Dean Jimmie McClellan will speak at The 2017 George Washington Symposium presented by The George Washington Masonic National Memorial Association. McClellan’s speech is titled “The Building Blocks of Tidewater Life: Foundations of George Washington’s Neighborhood.”

The event will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25 at The George Washington Masonic National Memorial located at 101 Callahan Drive, Alexandria, VA 22301.

Other speakers participating in The 2017 George Washington Symposium include Dr. Bruce Ragsdale, author of “A Planters’ Republic: The Search for Economic Independence in Revolutionary Virginia” and Professor William Ferraro, managing editor of The George Washington Papers, University of Virginia.
