The Disability Support Services (DSS) Office has joined forces with College Marketing, Web and Creative Services to ensure that all content that appears on the NOVA website is accessible to all users, including those with print disabilities (blind, low vision and learning disabilities such as dyslexia).
Individuals with print disabilities use assistive technology software, such as screen readers and text-to-speech software, which can only read documents that are saved in Word or as PDFs. Scanned PDFs will not work.
Beginning February 27, flyer submissions to the Intercom must be saved as either a Microsoft Word document (.doc and docx) or converted and saved as a PDF. Documents that are saved as an image, such as .jpg, .bmp, .tif, .gif or .eps, will not be accepted.
