Agencies have been notified by the Department of Human Resource Management (DHRM) that this year’s annual open enrollment period for Flexible Spending and Health Care will be shorter in length than in previous years. Open enrollment will begin on May 1, 2017 and end on May 15, 2017.
Employee Direct (EDIRECT), the state’s online employee self-service system, will not be available this year. Therefore, employees wishing to make health or flexible spending elections or re-enrollments must complete the Active Employee Eligibility and Enrollment Form when the open enrollment period begins and forward it to email@example.com. Enrollment forms for open enrollment should not be submitted prior to May 1, 2017.
