DEA Special Agent Joseph Piersante Speaks at Manassas

On November 14, the Sigma Chi Nu, Manassas Chapter of the American Criminal Justice Association, had a presentation from Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent Joseph Piersante. This was in conjunction with the class Administration of Justice (ADJ) 228.

Piersante shared his experience as a Detroit police officer, member of the Special Response Team and graduate of the DEA Training Academy. He described his transfer to the DEA foreign deployed Advisory Support Team (AST) where he was assigned to the Delta Team. He also spoke about his hands-on experience in combat, his recovery from a life-threatening injury and his experience in multi-kilogram narcotics investigations domestic and international.
