On October 26, NOVA sent a delegation of students (primarily Honors Program students) to the U.S. Department of State (DOS) to attend the John C. Whitehead Conference on Diplomacy. With over 40 in attendance, new Honors Program students received their Honors pin at the September 22 Pinning Ceremony hosted by the Loudoun Campus. President Scott Ralls welcomed the students as did Loudoun Provost Julie Leidig, Associate Vice President for Academic Services Sheri Robertson and the Honors Program Coordinator Stacy Rice. On April 11, a group of Dr. Walerian Majewski’s Honors students attended the national meeting of the American Physical Society in Baltimore.
