The NVCC Educational Foundation hosted its 21st Annual Recognition Dinner on September 13 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. Proceeds from the fundraising event support student scholarships, faculty and staff development and college programs. Retired Army General Barry R. The NVCC Educational Foundation Honors Symposium was held March 17 at the Annandale Campus. The symposium provides Honors students the chance to present their original research in the form of an 8-to12-minute presentation. There were 21 student presentations representing each NOVA campus. The Manassas Honors Program held the ExxonMobil Awards Ceremony on November 27 and granted three $250 awards to students based on personal essays, campus and community involvement, current grades, and professor recommendations.
