RN/LPN needed to care for an amazing 16 year old male with a g-tube, trach and vent at home in the Alexandria area. You will be responsible for administering medications, giving gtube feeds, checking vital signs, and protecting against illness, along with trach and vent care. He attends school and loves to communicate with his nurses. We are looking specifically for someone to work on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday days (6:30a-5p). If you are interested in a learning opportunity, please give us a call, as we are willing to train on the vent here. The rate is $25/hr, with certain exceptions. Successful applicants for this position will have at least 6 months of pediatric nursing experience, including competency with g-tubes, and traches. You must have a valid Virginia or Compact state nursing license, and an up to date CPR certification.
