Alexandria Campus
Located on the 3rd floor of the Center for Design, Media and the Arts (AFA) which opened in 2017 the photography program has two digital classrooms, a digital printing lab, print and film darkrooms, lighting studio, and interdepartmental collaborative production space.
Digital Labs
- 2 designated digital classrooms with iMacs color calibrated with i1Studio software
- Designated digital printing lab with Epson wide-format printers, an Epson Large Format Printer and color calibrated print viewing stations
- Epson Flatbed Scanners
- Imacon Flextight X1 Scanners
Darkroom
- 20 Omega enlargers which can accommodate up to 4×5 negatives
- UV exposure unit for alternative processes such as cyanotype and gum bichromate
Lighting Studio
- 1,000 sq ft studio with 4 flexible shooting bays which can be adapted for a variety of shooting needs from tabletop to portraiture
- ProFoto, Broncolor and Elinchrom lighting systems with various light modifiers
Woodbridge Campus
Located on the 1st floor of the Arts and Sciences Building (WAS) the photography program has a digital classroom, darkroom and wetlab and lighting studio.
