NOVA’s 6th Annual NOVA SERVES: MLK Day of Service was a huge success. Two hundred and eight five faculty, staff, students and community members spent their holiday together in the spirit of service by packaging over 17,000 meals kits in support of Stop Hunger Now organization. Stop Hunger Now works with international partners that ship and distribute the meals in-country. The majority of Stop Hunger Now’s meals supply school lunch programs. NOVA’s Campus Police also helped volunteers collect canned food and winter coats for local community members in need.
