Internship Opportunities for Spring 2016:
The Women’s Center is seeking internship applications from students interested in participating in organizing and directing the Center’s on-campus programming and social media presence for Spring 2016. Ideal candidates are individuals who are passionate about the study of gender and conflict, who maintain a critical ‘gendered lens’ of issues related to conflict and oppression, and who are committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging academic environment.
We are seeking applicants who have excellent written communication skills and have the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently. Interns will develop and enhance social media campaigns for the Women’s Center, and will help promote our events including weekly Round tables, Women Helping Women, Elect Her, and Women’s History Month event. Intern will work with our center’s blogger, Robin Bartley, and our provost community outreach staff including Marc Henderson and Ray Evans.
Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and resume to Carolyn Lorente, firstname.lastname@example.org by December 15, 2015.
