Other Educational Resources

We do have a few bookcases full of textbooks for student use in the PIER. This collection has been accumulated through years of receiving donated books from professors and administrators at NOVA. Please note that these textbooks are not likely to be the most updated versions that professors are using and they cannot leave the PIER. Our recommendation is that students use their own textbooks and

Tutors and students are free to use these textbooks during tutoring sessions, as ways to either find sample problems, seek out additional information on a course topic, or as supplemental reading.

  • The Longman Writer (8th edition)
  • A Writer’s Reference (7th edition)
