The Loudoun GIS Forum will take place this year on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 8am until 4 pm. The cost is $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the door. Student scholarships will be available. The event will be held at Loudoun Water 44865 Loudoun Water Way, Ashburn, VA 20147.
What is the forum? The forum includes a variety of speakers from industry and local, state and federal agencies and a Map Gallery. The Map Gallery will award prizes for best maps in both professional and student categories. Other sessions include the Information Exchange and Tours of Loudoun Water. The Forum is an excellent way to earn GISP Certification Credit, simply keep your agenda and registration receipts as proof of attendance.
Topics at this year’s event include: NVRC Conservation Corridors, Broadband Mapping, Mobile GIS in Loudoun, 3D Modeling, GIS in Local Government and Educating GIS Professionals in Loudoun.
