Internships and scholarships are offered to eligible college students who are majoring in studies that are relevant to the mission. Students selected for positions “earn while they learn”! In other words, students are paid a salary while gaining valuable hands-on experience that can lead to full time employment upon successful completion of the program. The positions are available during summer breaks and allow students to perform mission related work that is aligned with keeping the nation safe. Graduate and undergraduate students with interest in such dynamic opportunities are encouraged to apply! For consideration, students must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, and majoring in studies relevant to the mission of NGA.
Please Note: Applications for internships and scholarships starting in the summer of 2013 will be accepted September 4 – October 12, 2012 at www.nga.mil. (See “Careers” and “Current Openings” to locate the appropriate student Assignment Opportunity Notices (AON). The link to apply will only be available during the dates listed above.
