Open Street Map/MapBox Conference Discount

Conference Dates:  12-13 April, Washington DC, Convention Center

Comment:  Highly recommended!  A great way to learn about the Open Source GIS explosion–another skillset you need!  MK

From NOVA’s Professor Eva Stern:

I was talking to Bonnie Bogle from Open Street Map/MapBox last week.  They were looking for volunteers and I mentioned that I could probably hook them up with some students if they needed help.  They are maxxed out on volunteer slots, but would very much like to see a student contingent, so she has set up a student discount for the conference (April 12 and 13th at the Washington Convention Center).
Students can register for just $50 for the two day conference (coffee, lunch, tshirts too!).  To register, just got to http://www.eventbrite.com/e/state-of-the-map-us-2014-tickets-9750980445, click promotional code, and enter “studyOSM”.
Thanks, Professor Stern!
