Nurse Aides play a vital role in the healthcare team and are in critical shortage in our community.

NOVA Workforce’s new courses, ESL Support for Nurse Aide Students and Nurse Aide Preparation (CNA), combine nurse aide training with English language support. You will learn important medical terminology, grammar, and pronunciation. Students are guaranteed at least one interview with a regional employer.

This course is eligible for both FastForward and All Within My Hands grants. These grants could reduce the tuition to $0.

FastForward Programs (funded by the Workforce Credential Grant) are preparatory short-term training programs for industry credentials in high-demand professions. Virginia-domiciled
residents can take these programs by paying only one-third (1/3) of the full tuition cost, provided they successfully complete the program.

Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation will provide eligible students with financial support to use toward materials not included with tuition, such as scrubs, shoes, a watch, criminal background check, drug screening, and any required immunizations. The program cost for eligible students could be $0.
