AGILE for Project Management

Agile project management is an iterative and incremental approach to planning and guiding project processes. In this program series, you will gain an understanding of the Agile Manifesto and its 12 Principles, learn the Lean principles of value and waste, and build a basic Kanban board and manage flow. Through hands-on exercises, you will explore Scrum roles, activities, and artifacts and develop a deeper understanding of the Agile mindset.

Agile Essentials – Level 1

Agile Essentials provides a comprehensive exploration into the essential, foundational concepts and practices of Agile. At the end of this course, you’ll understand the Agile Manifesto and its 12 Principles, recognize the Lean principles of value and waste, be able to build a basic Kanban board and manage flow, and recognize the key components Scrum roles, activities, and artifacts.  You’ll participate in several hands-on exercises that reinforce the concepts presented in class.

Agile Essentials – Level 2

This course provides you with in-depth training on Agile and Scrum practices. It incorporates components of the Scrum Alliance’s Certified Scrum Master (CSM®), Certified Product Owner (CSPO®) course outlines, and also includes elements of Lean and Kanban training. At the end of this course, you’ll have gained a perspective on the current state of the industry, developed a deeper understanding of the Agile mindset and Scrum team best practices, broadened product management and ownership practices, and incorporated Lean and Kanban into your Agile practices.  You’ll also participate in exercises that demonstrate and reinforce the concepts taught in class.
