Nurse Aides play a vital role in the healthcare team and are in critical shortage in our community.
NOVA Workforce’s new courses, ESL Support for Nurse Aide Students and Nurse Aide Preparation (CNA), combine nurse aide training with English language support. You will learn important medical terminology, grammar, and pronunciation. Students are guaranteed at least one interview with a regional employer.
This course is eligible for both FastForward and All Within My Hands grants. These grants could reduce the tuition to $0.

Data analytics (DA) is the process of examining raw data to find trends and answer questions. DA is central to many business operations to help make better data-driven decisions. The CompTIA® Data+ certification is ideal for anyone seeking a new career in data analysis, to improve their current data science skills, or to validate their skills and knowledge with an industry-recognized credential. In this course, you will learn how to mine and manipulate data more effectively, apply basic statistical methods, and analyze complex datasets, all while adhering to governance and quality standards throughout the entire data life cycle.
Course Prerequisites: Basic computer literacy, e.g., using Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel. Recommended: Basic SQL knowledge
FastForward and G3 eligible program: Most Virginia residents qualify for the FastForward credential grant, reducing the tuition to only $767! Additional funding sources, such as G3, may be available to cover the student’s portion of the tuition. If you qualify, your out-of-pocket cost could be $0.
