College-wide Virtual Job Fair
Tuesday, April 20, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

Northern Virginia Community College’s 2021 Collegewide Virtual Job Fair, takes place on Tuesday, April 20 from 11:00am – 3:00pm EST on Career ConnectionStudents and alumni will be able to connect with employers that are hiring for full-time, part-time, and internship positions through 1-on-1 video meetings and group video chats.

 Watch this short video to see how the Career Connection Virtual Job Fair works.

Get started by registering to attend the fair on Career Connection and viewing the list of attending employers. Remember to keep checking back, as the list is frequently updated. Uploading your resume is optional but is the only way to provide your resume to employers, and you can return at a later date to upload or update it. Employers will have access to the resumes of registered students two weeks before the event begins.  Be sure to put your best resume in front of employers as soon as possible!

As part of Lockheed Martin’s continued commitment to supporting the academic endeavors of students across the nation and a strengthened focus on students and learners at two-year institutions, we are pleased to announce the launch of the 2021 Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship program.

Lockheed Martin’s Vocational Scholarship Program is the first of its kind within the aerospace and defense industry and awards up to $6,600 to as many as 150 recipients each year. This program targets high school seniors or high school graduates (or GED equivalent) pursuing associate degrees, credit-bearing certificates, or industry-recognized credentials in technology and advanced manufacturing disciplines that do not require a bachelor’s or advanced degree. Through this scholarship, Lockheed Martin hopes to encourage learners of all ages to consider a rewarding career in this important industry.

Digital Realty – Data Center Operations Career Day

Digital Realty – Data Center Operations Career Day will take place on October 16, 2020, from 12PM – 2:30PM EST.

This virtual career day will introduce students and alumni to many career paths available in data center operations and specifically with Digital Realty.

The program will offer a keynote from Digital Realty’s Executive Vice President and a panel discussion with professionals from across the company.  Following this presentation, students can meet the panel members in 1-on-1 video chats.
