There are many different online community resource databases you can use to easily locate services in your area. You simply type in your zip code and what you need, and you’ll find a list of different programs and services that you may be eligible to utilize.

Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning – Human Services Resource Guide

This covers resources for students living in Annandale, Fairfax, Springfield, Alexandria, Falls Church, Centreville, Herndon, Vienna, and Reston. Students living in other areas of Northern Virginia can use 2-1-1 Virginia (listed below) or can call Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning for appropriate referrals at:

2-1-1 VIRGINIA is a free service that can help you find the local resources you need available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • 2-1-1 is an easy to remember phone number connecting people with free information on available community services. When you dial 2-1-1, a trained professional listens to your situation and suggests sources of help using one of the largest databases of health and human services in Virginia.
  • 2-1-1 VIRGINIA provides access to services in your community and statewide. All referrals are confidential and you can search for these same services on this 2-1-1 VIRGINIA Web site.
  • 2-1-1 VIRGINIA is a service of the Virginia Department of Social Services provided in partnership with the Council of Community Services, The Planning Council, the United Way of Central Virginia, and the United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg.
