LINK
LINK is an association of 13 churches in Sterling and Herndon which cooperate to help local individuals and families in need. LINK provides emergency food to Ashburn, Sterling and Herndon residents in crisis. The food is delivered. They also provide limited financial assistance through Loudon Cares to Loudon County residents.

Salvation Army
Residents in need of financial assistance may contact the Salvation Army of Loudon County, which distributes

  • living assistance for utility bills,
  • rent, prescriptions,
  • food, clothing, and
  • furniture.

A caseworker determines a client’s eligibility for assistance based on need. The Salvation Army thrift stores provide furniture, household items, and clothing at a low-cost rate.
