At the Alexandria campus we offer state-of-the-art new fine arts facilities and studios with a variety of course offerings to fit fine arts students needs along with highly accredited faculty and community resources. The Fine Arts Program here at Alexandria campus, is committed to quality education with an emphasis on mastery of foundation skills, creative problem solving and lifelong learning.
Our 21st century approach combines traditional foundational skills and knowledge of the arts with contemporary technology and approaches. We strive to offer experiences closely associated with participation in our community as well as resources in Northern Virginia and the greater Washington D.C. area. Activities include utilizing the array of museums and galleries in field trips, activities with the Art Club, holding juried student exhibitions and more! Our faculty are engaged and responsive to the needs of our students and their education.
