The mission of Chordeiles is to provide an authentic forum for NOVA students to publish all genres of scientific and technical communications. We seek to show exemplary student works illustrating the centrality and necessity of clear communications across the sciences, and all disciplines, and the role that languages play in the acts of creation.
We believe that scientific communications are in themselves as creative and aesthetically beautiful, in their own ways, as any work of the “traditional” creative genres. To that end, Chordeiles accepts all submissions, as long as they are in some way related to the universal topic of Science.
Chordeiles is a student-run peer reviewed journal composed of a student editing board that publishes the journal and a faculty advisory board. NOVA faculty from across the College serve as Reviewers depending upon their areas of expertise.
Chordeiles encourages NOVA faculty to design assignments and projects that can lead to publication here.
