Golden Glove Deadline – This Friday, Jan. 17
NOVA’s Fight to End Hunger and Other Insecurities has resulted in a college-wide drive and competition designed to help us keep our campus Birdhouses (food pantries) stocked where the winning campus takes home the golden gloves. This college-wide drive and competition is designed to help us keep our campus Birdhouses stocked. Each campus is asked to collect specific items. The campus/building who collects the most will receive the coveted “Golden Glove” award.
A representative from the college’s Technology Innovation in Learning and Teaching (TILT) program will personally come to each campus to pick up the items this Friday, January 17th. They will sort and re-distribute to all campuses this Monday during the annual NOVA Serves MLK Day of Service on January 20th . Contact Kirstin Riddick, Coordinator, TILT with any questions.
