Professional Development: Hybrid and Online Teaching

Join us this spring for several types of professional development around hybrid and online teaching and learning. We’ll be offering three sessions of the hybrid certification workshop, two sessions of a new week-long online workshop on facilitating online discussions effectively, and several webinars (some led by faculty and others by NOL staff) on various best-practice topics related to online learning. We hope to see you at one or more of these programs:

Hybrid Certification Course (4 weeks, Asynchronous via Canvas, awarded with a certificate)

Effectively Facilitating Online Discussions ( 1 week asynchronous through Canvas, awarded with a certificate)

Webinars—Offered via Zoom, hosted by NOVA Online to promote peer sharing and best practices in teaching online and hybrid courses. No need to register! Webinar and access information will be announced.

The first hybrid workshop starts Monday, January 27, so be sure to register soon if you need to be hybrid certified before the second 8-week session for spring.
