Dionne Henry, First African American Chief Engineer at Pratt & Whitney (BHM Event)
Black History Month Guest Speaker
Dionne Henry, sister of Dr. Dahlia Henry-Tett, is the Program Chief Engineer for Operational Commercial Engines for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Engines. She will be a Black History Month keynote speaker at the Manassas Campus. The discussion, “Making The Table Bigger: Minority Success in a Majority World”, will be on Thursday, February 13 from noon to 2:00 p.m.
The event will be a moderated fireside chat in which Dionne will share her experience as the first African-American woman to hold the position of Chief Engineer at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Engines, her personal journey that led her to this role, and how to refine your very own professional experiences for success and beyond.
