Did You Know? Campus Libraries are for the Community Too!

February 4, 2020 / General NOVA News

Q:  Can the public use our libraries?

A:  In short: yes. As a community college supported by the Commonwealth of Virginia, we are required to be accessible to the public. You can even get a community borrower card if you provide a valid, state-issued photo ID with current mailing address. Community patrons can borrow up to 3 items at a time. Please contact a campus library for more information.

Community patrons are also able to use NOVA library databases, but only while physically at a NOVA campus library. Off-campus acccess to library databases is restricted by contract to currently registered students, faculty, and staff.
